Image Edit lets you modify an existing image using simple text instructions. You can adjust the look, fix details, or make changes without starting from scratch.
What Image Edit Does
Edits existing images using natural-language prompts
Lets you transform an image in many different ways, from subtle fixes to creative makeovers
Change style, mood, or identity (e.g. cartoon, cinematic, professional headshot)
Modify appearance details like hairstyle, makeup, outfit, or lighting
Apply playful or artistic edits, or refine images for professional use
Keeps the main subject and composition consistent while refining the result
How to Edit an Image
1. Open the Image
You can edit:
A generated image
An uploaded photo
An image from your threads
Click the image to open it in the editor or continue in the same thread.
2. Describe the Edit
Type what you want to change directly into the chat box, just like you would in Image Generation.
Example edit prompts:
“Make the lighting softer”
“Change the hairstyle into short bob”
“Change the outfit into business casual”
“Give it a clean studio look”
"Turn this into a professional headshot"
You don’t need special keywords, plain language works best.
3. Apply and Review
Submit your prompt
Kira applies the edit to the image
Review the result and refine if needed
Each successful edit counts as one action.
When to Use Image Edit
Use Image Edit when you want to:

Use Redux if you want variations instead of direct edits
Credits & Usage
Image editing costs 5 credits per successful result
Credits are deducted only when the edit completes successfully
Failed or interrupted edits do not consume credits
Troubleshooting
The edit changed too much
Use fewer instructions or be more specific. Try refreshing and editing again.
Nothing changed
Try rephrasing your prompt or making the change more explicit.
