Filter lets you change the mood, color, and overall look of an image. You can apply preset filters instantly or generate AI-powered dynamic filters tailored to each photo.

What Filter Does

  • Applies color grading and style changes

  • Offers preset filters for quick looks

  • Generates dynamic AI filters customized for each image

  • Keeps the original image content unchanged


How to Apply a Filter

1. Open the Image

You can apply filters to:

  • A generated image

  • An uploaded photo

  • An image from your threads

Click the image to open it in the editor.

2. Select Filter

In the toolbar or homepage:

  1. Click Filter

  2. The Filter panel will appear

You’ll see three tabs:

  • AI Filters

  • Filters

  • Favorite


Using AI Filters

AI Filters generate dynamic filters specifically for your image based on your description.

1. Go to AI Filters

  • Select the AI Filters tab

  • Enter a short description of the filter you want

Example prompts:

  • “Kodak 200”

  • “Warm cinematic”

  • “Vintage film look”

  • “Clean studio portrait”

2. Generate Filters

  • Click Generate Filters

  • Kira creates multiple filter options tailored to the image

3. Preview and Apply

  • Click a filter to preview it

  • Select Confirm to apply

Each successful filter generation counts as one action.


Using Preset Filters

Preset filters offer instant, ready-made styles.

1. Go to Filters

  • Select the Filters tab

  • Browse the available filter thumbnails

2. Preview and Apply

  • Click a filter to preview it on your image

  • Click Confirm to apply

Preset filters are fast and ideal for quick styling.


Saving Favorites

  • Mark filters you like as Favorite

  • Access them later from the Favorite tab

  • Great for maintaining a consistent look across images


Tips for Best Results

  • Use AI Filters for image-specific results

  • Use Preset Filters for speed and consistency

  • Combine Filter with Adjust for fine control

  • Apply filters after Crop or Expand for best composition


Credits & Usage

  • Applying or generating filters costs 5 credits per successful result

  • Credits are deducted only if the filter is applied successfully

  • Failed or cancelled attempts do not consume credits
