Getting Started
Create Your Account
Go to the Kira website: https://kira.art/
Sign up with your Gmail.
Verify your account and explore the dashboard.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your credit balance, tools menu, and gallery.
Core Tools
Kira’s main tools let you work with visuals in different creative ways:
Image Generation
Turn text descriptions into images.
Video Generation
Turn text or generated/edited images into video.
Image Editing
Modify and edit existing images using AI.
Inpaint
Edit or modify specific areas of an image using AI, with rest of the image unchanged.
Redux
Create visual variations while keeping the original composition and subject.
Additional Tools
These tools support refinement, cleanup, and final polish.
Remove Background: Automatically remove the background from an image.
Replace Background: Replace the background of an image while keeping the subject intact.
Eraser: Remove unwanted elements from an image.
Upscale: Increase image resolution and clarity.
Expand: Extend the canvas beyond the original image boundaries.
Adjust: Fine-tune image properties manually, such as brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, etc.
Filter: Apply preset filters or get dynamic filters.
Crop: Resize and reframe your image.

Daily Credits & Usage
Kira uses credits to power AI tasks:
Standard actions (generation, editing, enhancements) cost 5 credits each, video generation costs 60 credits each.
Free users receive 15 credits per day, which refresh daily. Unused credits do not carry over.
A one-time free allowance of 30 credits is granted when you create your account.
Credits are only used when an action successfully completes, failed or interrupted tasks do not cost credits. Read more here.
You can check your credit balance in the Billing section of your account. (More on this in the Credit & Usage Guide article.)
Saving & Managing Creations
After you generate or edit an image/video:
Use Export to download it.
Re-edit images through your threads anytime.
Your threads keep track of your recent outputs for quick access.
Troubleshooting & Support
If something doesn’t work as expected:
Check your credit balance; generation may fail if you’re out of credits.
Visit the Help Center for feature-specific articles.
