This article explains how billing works on Kira, how to cancel a subscription, what happens after cancellation, and how refunds and failed payments are handled.


Billing & Charges

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)

  • Charges are processed automatically at the start of each billing period

  • Prices, billing cycle, and renewal date are visible in your account dashboard

By subscribing, you authorize Kira to charge your selected payment method according to your plan.


Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • We may retry the charge automatically

  • You may be notified to update your payment method

  • Access to paid features may be temporarily limited if payment cannot be completed

Once payment is successfully processed, full access is restored.


How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

To cancel:

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Open Billing

  3. Select Edit Billing

  4. Confirm cancellation

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.


What Happens After You Cancel

After cancellation:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle

  • You keep access to paid features until the period ends

  • No further charges will be made after the cycle ends

  • New subscription credits will not be issued after expiration

Your account and existing images remain accessible.


Refund Policy

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started

  • Unused credits are not eligible for refunds

  • Partial refunds are not issued for mid-cycle cancellations

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as:

  • Duplicate charges

  • Billing errors

  • Technical issues caused by Kira that prevent service use

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


Add-ons & Credits Refunds

  • Purchased credit add-ons are non-refundable

  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Credits have no monetary value outside the platform


Charge Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly:

  • Contact our support team before filing a chargeback (support@kira.art)

  • Provide your account email and billing details

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account restrictions.


Common Questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Will I lose my images if I cancel?

No. Canceling does not delete your account or existing images.

Do I get a refund if I forget to cancel?

Subscriptions renew automatically. Refunds are not issued for missed cancellations.

What happens if my payment fails?

We’ll retry and notify you. Continued failure may temporarily restrict paid features.
