A Heads-Up on Music Generation

A quick heads-up before our next update: Music Generation will be retiring from Kira.

It's been a fun experiment, and we're grateful to everyone who took it for a spin.

This change is part of clearing the runway for some bigger things coming soon, and we wanted to give you plenty of notice.

In our next release, music generation features will be removed from Kira.

• You'll no longer be able to generate new music tracks inside Kira.

• Anything you've already created is yours to keep, just download or save it before the next update.

• Your images, videos, and other projects are completely unaffected.

Stepping away from music helps us pour more craft into the tools you use every day.

• Sharper, faster image and video features.

• Room for new features already in motion that we can't wait to share.

We're cooking up something we're genuinely excited about.

• New creative tools designed around how you actually use Kira.

• More polish, more speed, more of what you've been asking for.

Kira's mission is to make creating effortless and open to anyone, no special skills required.

Tightening our focus means every feature we ship gets more attention, more care, and lands faster in your hands.

We'd rather build fewer things, beautifully, than spread ourselves thin.
